Kundalini Yoga is the yoga of awareness, sometimes also called the mother of the Yogas. The eight limbs of Yoga as in Patanjali’s Yoga Sutras are integrated in each session (Kriya).
Dynamic repetitive movement or very still posture is combined with directed breath, drisht, and mantra. We also do longer meditations – many of them likewise with specific pranayam or mantra. This Yoga affects you quickly. it is a holistic science. Great emphasis is given on working all the chakras. Kundalini Yoga helps you to strengthen your immune system, all glands, the nervous system, improves good circulation, and gives you an awareness of the impact of your habits. In my own and many other practitioners’ experience, this yoga is a fear-blaster and confidence-booster. Unnecessary blocks melt away.
